Windows Software License Agreement

Finally, every free program is constantly threatened by software patents. We want to avoid the risk that the redistributors of a free program will receive individual patent licenses, which protects the program through copyright. To avoid this, we have made it clear that any patent must be allowed for free use or not at all. You can still continue to use, distribute or distribute the covered software under the terms of the license under which you received the covered software. If the first developer includes a message in the original software prohibiting the distribution or availability of another later version of the license, you must distribute and make available the covered software under the terms of the license under which you originally received the covered software. Otherwise, you can also use, distribute or distribute the covered software under the terms of a later version of the license published by the license administrator. Sun Microsystems, Inc. is the first licensee and may publish revised and/or new versions of this license from time to time. Each version receives a distinctive version number. Except as provided in Section 4.3, no one but the licensed administrator has the right to amend that licence. These licensing conditions apply to the use of all Microsoft software and online services that are granted as part of your volume licensing agreement. 12.

DISCLAIMER. The software is licensed “as we see it.” You take the risk of using it. Microsoft does not provide explicit guarantees, guarantees or conditions. You may have additional consumer rights in accordance with your local laws that cannot be changed by this agreement. To the extent that your local laws allow, Microsoft excludes unspoken guarantees of market continuity, adequacy for a specific purpose and non-counterfeiting. FOR AUSTRALIA ONLY: you have legal guarantees under Australian consumer law and nothing under these conditions should infringe those rights. If you are purchasing GSA licenses for our GIA programs, please contact your Microsoft dealer or licensing manager for licensing/product use rights. We protect your rights in two steps: (1) Software Copyright, and (2) offers you this license that gives you legal permission to copy, distribute and/or modify the software.
